Mitchel report my attorney and I have decided to release this public letter of
apology.

I am sorry to my family, friends, to the Mariners Organization and most of all
my fans for letting them down When I was drafted by the Brooklyn Organization
being the only member of the team from deal and that I was told that I was a
core member of the team and this put me under a lot of pressure to perform and
prove myself. Knowing that I needed to perform and the fact that I was unwilling
to put in the necessary time I turned to P.E.D.s 

I hope this does not taint my legacy and possible future hall of fame chances!
I pray that the league will have mercy when reviewing the details of this case
and I will not be suspended or fined any amount.
